First trip to the Lampasas River
Made a quick trip out to the Lampasas River outside of well, Lampasas. It was just too darned hot to enjoy for long. I can do too darned cold as evidence by my trips way back in the archives of this blog, but hot isn’t my cup of tea.
So the fishing wasn’t great though I had fun site casting to trolling catfish. I did catch a couple of about 12″ catfish on a hopper pattern. I also saw some freaky little needle nose gar.
I, once again, loved my Water Walker Lanyard. I’m definitely a convert now.
Some pics of the area below. Sorry no fish pictures.
