I decided to run over to Reimers Ranch to check out the Pedernales River. We’ve received a fair amount of rain in Central Texas over the last few months so I was really hoping that conditions would improve from my last visit. Take a look at the pictures in previous posts… the river was almost dry.

  1. I have never done chores as fast as when I knew I could go fishing when I was done. The wife know something is up when I wake at 6:00 to clean the kitchen and fix that busted light switch.

    1. If my wife hears my alarm go off on a weekend, she knows I’m going fishing. It’s a great motivator!

  3. Whenever you can’t get out of the house you should check out the Catch A Boat game on TakeMeFishing.org. Just by playing you can win daily prizes and a grand prize of a new Sylvan boat with an Evinrude E-TEC engine and a trailer. Catch A Boat lets you “fish” online.

Check it out! Game ends March 1.
