I’ve always been fascinated with John Gierach’s short stories. I’m not sure if I’ll ever achieve the slacker ways of true Trout Bum status as I’ve chosen a life path that won’t allow me to spend my entire existence on cold water streams but reading his stories can transport me temporarily to Lyons Colorado where tricking a trout is my only challenge.
